"Original Sin" Email dated April 14, 2023

Good day,

original sin refers to mans's state of separation from god. Through the all into sin, mankind has distanced itself from God.
This is a fundamental state, so every human being is a sinner, even if no individual sin has yet been committed.
Through baptism, original sin is washed away. God lifts the state of permanent separation from Him. God grants the baptized into a first close relationship with Him and is enabled to have fellowship with him.
Neverless, the inclination to sin remains and every human being is dependent on God's grace.

A baby is not guilty, but every human being is initially distanced from God.
